William Lewis Pinder, Sr, age 60, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Wednesday February 23,2022. Born October 28th 1961 to William Edward Pinder and Doris McAllister Pinder. Though divorced from Donna Lee Burley he was survived by his two sons, William Lewis Pinder Jr (Marchielle) and Edward Lee Pinder (Becky), brothers Michael Shell, Danny Kirkpatrick and Tony Kirkpatrick, sisters Goldie Cricthon, Sandra Morris and Judy Shell. He had 6 Grandchildren and 1 unborn grandchild, 9 nephews, 8 nieces and many great nieces and nephews.

U will be greatly missed mr billy
Billy was a true brother to me for decades and I will miss him dearly!!! I remember when he split me eye and I remember when he saved my life and got me the help I needed so desperately!!! I will always think of Billy as a true brother…I will miss you Pinder…and always cherish our fishing trips and the few golfing trips we took… We WILL meet again my brother!!! Thanks for being there….

Billy, you were one of a kind. You were there for me growing up in Jacksonville as a kid. You were my protector my surrogate father and my uncle. The music that I love so much was introduced to me by you. There is not one Skynyrd song I can listen to and not think of you. Our family is a family of street survivors. So I leave you with the song title and lyric from the Outlaws who took me to see in 1978. I wish you nothing but “GREEN GRASS AND HIGH TIDES FOREVER” I love you. Your nephew, Damien
