Bruce Epler

Bruce Allen Epler, Jr., 50, of Hawthorne FL,  passed away on December 26th, 2022 in Ocala, Florida.

Bruce was born in Reading, PA to Florence and Bruce Epler, Sr. He had a daughter, Sara, a son, Alec, sister, Joy and brother, Allen. He lived with his girlfriend, Christine.

Bruce was a talented chef for 26 years in Pennsylvania and worked as an organic farmer in Citra FL at Crones' Cradle Conserve. In his early years he was in the Navy. He loved animals, especially cats and he enjoyed collecting coins. Bruce and Christine spent each weekend going to flea markets and thrift stores. This was by far his favorite pastime. Bruce was a lifelong Kiss fan and loved his '80s rock. He was funny, sarcastic and loved to make people laugh.

Bruce is survived by his girlfriend, Christine Newberry of Hawthorne, FL, his children, Sara and Alec of Pennsylvania, his mother, Florence Epler of Reading, PA, his brother, Allen, sister, Joy and nephew, Gabe also of Pennsylvania. Also to include his cats, Tails, Yummy, Scooter & Radar and his dog Odin. He had many friends and family in Pennsylvania, Florida and across the country who are going to miss him greatly.

He was proceeded in death by his father Bruce Sr..

Thank you to the Cates House for making his final day on Earth peaceful.
