Our sincerest condolences to Carmen and family. A true gentleman of integrity, commitment, concern for others, and wonderful conversationalist with a great laugh. We have very fond memories of Ignacio and Carmen.
I joined the Gainesville office of CH2MHill in 2007. By that time Dr. Garcia had retired but still came into the office. My memory of Dr. Garcia is that he was gentle and humble soul with a driving passion to restore the wetlands of Paynes Prairie. Dr. Garcia always had time to chat and had many stories to share.
Please accept my condolences for your loss. Although his presence will be missed on earth, may he be blessed with warmth and love as he rests in peace with the Our Father.
Carmen, I am so sorry to learn of Dr. Garica-Bengochea's passing. On the 64th anniversary of his Black and Associates hiring. It was delightlful to learn from him, and of him with your input when he earned the Rotary International recognition.

I have many fond memories of Dr. Garcia-Bengochea. I always enjoyed his stories of his travel to many places and especially enjoyed when he returned from south Florida bringing guava pastries that he graciously shared with many of us at CH2M HILL. Dr. Garcia will be missed by everyone who knew him.
