Keith Van Landingham

November 24, 2021

On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, Keith Louis Van Landingham, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 44.

Keith was born on March 13, 1977, in Jacksonville, FL to Kenneth and Barbara (Corbett) Van Landingham, Sr. He graduated from Wolfson High school and attended some college at FCCJ. While in school he worked several different jobs such as bicycle shop technician, framing houses, and maintaining golf courses. He later worked at Epping Forest as an Assistant Harbor Master where he became a sailing instructor and qualified for a captain’s license. He also taught sailing briefly at The Bolles school. While working at Epping Forest he met, Ashley. They have been together for twenty years and have three children together, Jameson (18), Nolan (14), Taylor (7).

After leaving his dream job at Epping Forest, he pursued a career in the home building business where he achieved many skills, knowledge and later became a superintendent. As of late, he was a project manager building residential homes in Georgia traveling back and forth weekly.

Keith was not only a craftsman and could build most anything, he also was a musician who could play saxophone, drums, and guitar. At one point, he had his own band called Red Letter Day. He also was an exceptional artist and we have many drawings and paintings in our possessions. Keith liked skateboarding, surfing, building model cars, shooting guns, sailing, boating, hiking, camping, dirt biking, and loved his lake house which was his dream to own.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara. He is survived by his father, Kenneth, Sr., his wife Ashley, his three children, Jameson, Nolan, Taylor, his brother Kenneth, Jr. (Monica), his sister Susan (William) and several nieces and nephews.
